Sunset Tea Ritual on the Beach in Essaouira
About this experience
An afternoon of Berber culture. Start with a one-hour ride to the beach on horseback, by camel or on a quad, through the dunes with the ocean and Mogador island ahead. On the sand, a traditional corner is waiting with Berber rugs, poufs, low tables and decorations. Your guide lights a small wood fire and prepares the tea, a ritual with deep roots that you can watch and learn, and you sip it with Moroccan pastries as the sun sinks into the ocean. After sunset you ride back along the Ksob river to the ranch.

Meeting Point
Important Information
The meeting time is agreed with the ranch and follows the sunset (between about 16:30 and 20:00). Children 5 to 8 pay half price. Getting there by quad costs a little more. No experience is needed; on horseback, beginners are welcome but trotting and cantering are decided case by case. For the horse or quad, wear long trousers and closed shoes; for the camel, casual clothes are fine. On windy days bring a light windproof jacket, a scarf and sunglasses. Your guide can take souvenir photos for you.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before. 50% charge within 24 hours. A cloudy sunset is not a reason for cancellation or refund.
