A first day in Agadir that shows you the city and the dunes nearby without rushing. The morning city tour climbs to the Kasbah viewpoint above the bay, then takes in the marina and Souk El Had. After lunch comes a traditional hammam with a black soap scrub and an argan oil massage. In the evening, ride a camel through the dunes at sunset and sit down to a Moroccan barbecue dinner by the fire. Hotel pickup is included for all three.

Two days that cover the city, the dunes and a Moroccan night out. Day 1 is the classic first day: the city tour in the morning, a hammam after lunch and a sunset camel ride with a barbecue dinner. Day 2 starts on a quad, four hours over dunes, coastal tracks and the Souss valley, and ends with dinner and a show at Chems, with belly dance, Gnawa music and Berber folklore. Hotel pickup is included throughout.

Five days to see Agadir and the south around it. Start with the city and a hammam, then spend a morning in a buggy and ride a jet ski on the bay. Head inland to the walled city of Taroudant and the Tiout palm oasis, go out to sea on a boat trip with lunch on board before dinner and a show at Chems, and end with Paradise Valley and a sunset camel ride in the dunes.

A day by the sea in Essaouira, the wind city. Start with a surf lesson in the bay, where a long sandy bottom and easy waves suit beginners. The surf school is on the main beach, a short walk from the medina, so the middle of the day is yours for the old town. Late in the afternoon, ride to the beach south of the city by horse, camel or quad for a tea ritual by a wood fire as the sun goes down.

Two days on the Essaouira coast. The first is for the sea: a surf lesson in the bay, the medina in the afternoon and a tea ritual on the beach at sunset. The second heads south to Diabat: a quad ride over the beach and the Cap Sim dunes in the morning, then a guided kayak ride around Mogador island when the sea is calm.
