Argan Horse Trek - 8 Days in the Essaouira Hinterland
About this experience
Ride into the Essaouira hinterland through the largest argan and thuya forests of the region, famous for inlaid woodwork and argan oil. Visit a women's cooperative where the oil is still made by hand, a local souk and old sugar mills, pass the biggest argan tree in the area and follow the canyons of the Ksob river. Camels, herds and farmers share the trails, and tea in a stranger's home is part of the journey. The trek ends on the great Cap Sim dunes and the long beach towards Sidi Kaouki.
