Ouarzazate is the gateway to Morocco's south, known for its kasbahs and film studios. This two-day private tour drives east from Agadir through the Souss valley and the Anti-Atlas, via Taroudant, Taliouine, the saffron capital, and Tazenakht, known for its carpets. Day 1: Agadir to Ouarzazate, about 6 hours with stops. Afternoon at the Taourirt kasbah or the Atlas film studios, then dinner and the night in Ouarzazate. Day 2: Morning at Aït Benhaddou, the UNESCO-listed ksar 30 km away, then the drive back to Agadir, arriving in the evening.

Stop in the saffron capital, with a visit to a saffron cooperative.
Lunch stop (own cost) in the carpet-weaving town.
Check in, then visit the Taourirt kasbah or the Atlas film studios (entry at your own cost).
Moroccan dinner and night in Ouarzazate.
Guided walk up through the ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Drive back west via Tazenakht and Taroudant, with a lunch stop on the way (own cost).
Drop-off at your hotel in Agadir.
Important Information
Bring a warm layer: mornings and evenings inland can be cold in winter. Wear comfortable walking shoes for Aït Benhaddou. Entry fees to kasbahs and studios are not included.
